ready to start

Well, tried starting the Cutlass today. Not running yet. I think I may not have a good ground on the block and the battery just needs to be replaced. We will check and take care of these two things tomorrow morning and try again.

Double check your wiring firing order, and if it's back firing and flaming through the carb, it may be 180 out.

Charging battery. Needs a long charge. Been sitting a long time. Its taking a charge tho. While that's doing its thing must bleed brakes cause I didn't bleed the lines after new master cylinder installed and gonna fabricate a egr block off plate....

Update. Timing was 180 degrees out. Got it to fire today but had to shut it down after very short time due to fuel leak on carb. Shut it down and pulled carb. Fixed that problem and put carb back on. On next try my yellow wire that goes from starter to distributor caught fire somehow. I know no gas got down there so no idea. Got to pull starter back out and check the wires to see if I can repair....
