Rain rant

God knows we need the rain, BAD. It's rained like 3 days in the last two months! But the last two times it's rained it's been on a Saturday during a scheduled Car Show (including today which I got caught in)! OK, rant over. Thank you.

If it makes you feel any better the only rain we got during the day yesterday was during my 15 min drive to work....... on my motorcycle, Started raining when I left and stopped right after I went in.
Waterpump crapped out on my car , so bike it was.

Sorry to hear that. I guess the rain affected you more than it did me. Were you soaked?

Angry

I'll trade the rain for this:

Humidity sensor reads about 15% low.
Yesterday and the rest of the week will be like this.

We wanted to go for a drive last night, but at 8pm, the temp was still at 96 and it was getting dark. Mosquitos were coming out ny the millions.
We stayed in instead.
Outside afternoon outings in temps like this? Not on your life...

Time to visit Boston or Seattle!

I am not tolerant to prolonged discomfort anymore. Must be part of the aging (or spoiling) process...
Could not even go check the mailbox until 8pm last night. Did not want to take a shower afterwards. Had to hunt for a stupid possum then anyway that got locked in my garage the night before - he was not a happy camper.

Weatherman this morning said today will really heat up - not encouraging at all.

Send me all the cheese you can - it is part of Rob's four "Ch*" food groups. I'll PM you my address. Use overnight delivery and lots of dry ice.

The nicer thing about rainy days, is that I can open the garage and maybe polish up the car or organize the garage, or do little odd jobs out there. I now need to wash possum paw prints from the bumper of the '86.
