1972 W-30 Cutlass Supreme Convertible:

The radiator support on the driver side under the battery tray is rusted through, lots of air circulation. I did a google search for "Radiator Support" and found a 1970 radiator support on Ebay. Not sure if this would work on my vehicle, or if there's a difference. Seller says it's in poor/fair condition (same issue, rusty on the driver side under the battery).

There's also a repro available. One ebay'er shows a repro for a 1970-1972 cutlass, another shows one for a 1970 and then a 1971-1972... I'm confused. Are there physical differences between the 1970 and 71/72 models? Or are they all the same (70-72)?

Anyone have any personal experience using the repro part? I wonder if you found it ot be a good repro or did you experience issues? I see prices ranging from mid $300 to mid $500's.

The 1970 radiator support will not interchange with 1971/1972 units since the hood latch and grill mountings areas are very different.

1971 and 1972 units are slightly different but will interchange.

Where are you located? I have a beautiful desert southwest '72 core support in Western PA if you're close by, for the lower end of the price range you stated.
