Didn't you have good luck in the past with R&R Radiator?

 

Centennial Radiator in Dallas re-cored the radiator for my 54. They have been around a long time.

Pankey's Radiator in Hayward, CA does all types of radiators.

Took my 1983 V65 Magna radiator there and they had no problem re-coring it. Worked better than new when they were done.

I did - they went out of business.

 

These guys did a great job re-coring my OEM radiator when the OEM core tubes were significantly plugged. "Rodding" the core tubes would have damaged the weakened material anyway, for a higher cost to repair, so I went with a re-core.

I explained my wish to have the final product look as close to OEM as possible, they were more than happy to repair (if needed) and refinish the side tanks, retaining the part number/application tabs and repainting the finished job.

I had used their services back in the 80's on my first Cutlass S, and when I needed work on my current 4-4-2 I went right back to them. The current owner happens to have been the tech that did my job 30-ish years ago. They bend over backward to help and please without a bunch of "you need this," or "I can sell you..." crap.

I was out the door for about $410, and am happy with the results.

I use this place in Indianapolis. He gets his cores from Michigan and made to order. Nothing like good ol USA made parts and service. I used him 3 times and perfect every time. He is not a restorer of radiators, just a rebuilder, so if you want to paint it yourself to get a show look you will have to tell him to not paint it.

I came across these guys in a search a while back. I did not use them but I did speak to them and I think they rebuild radiators and cores. Maybe worth a phone call?

He did my 4 core rad & it came out great. Very old school grimy little shop, but top notch work.

I had my rad recore done 2-3 years ago by them. I was surprised they were still in business because I first used them in the late '80s when I took a deer slug sized rock thru the rad. He patched me up very cheap. Fast forward 25 years and I bring the same patched rad back to him for a full recore.
