I have bought radiators from radiator.com 800-598-5504. Just don't get a generic plastic tank model.

Why do you need a new rad? Just clean everything and connect it right. Plug the unused port.

He needs a new one because he got one with the trans. fitting in the wrong place.

Unless he wants to spend several hours bending his trans lines to fit into a hole that is four inches lower than the original (and, with what we've seen so far, definitely kinking and / or breaking the lines, and generally creating a mess, and, of course, being unable to order replacements that fit, as the replacements will be bent to fit the original radiator and not the new one with the misplaced fitting, etc., etc.), he needs a radiator with the fitting in a different place.

Not if you make sure you get it all out. It wont hurt transmission components other than the friction clutches.

Looks like he bent the line "UP" to get it to fit in the top fitting. Pipe tube bender and ten minutes should fix it. A lot of Slack in those tranny lines.

I'm not saying that it CAN'T be done (in fact I just did it yesterday), but this guy has already managed to connect his trans line to his engine coolant, so I'm not gonna be the one to tell him "Just bend your lines."

So what i did was cut the line and inch, then flared it to the corect size. that fix the raditor problem, now as far as the Tranny goes, i drain the pink stuff out, to put in new fuild, still a pink but not a bright as before, after doing this 3 times, my arms became extremly tired from changing the pan. So i called it quits, now im looking into a Flush.

Could someone please explain the differnce in a flush and what i just did?

Also what type of Tranny fluid do you use?
