Radiator dimension please..

Hi everybody,
for a 71 442, No AC, does anyone have the dimension as shown on the picture for an original 2-3 row radiator, looking for a good fit replacement one.
At least the core height and width would be great to have.
Thanks

I just installed a Cold-Case aluminum radiator in my 75 Hurst Olds. It is listed as fitting a 71 also. It was a perfect fit. The only thing I had to do was move the top transmission cooler line up a little which was no problem. It made about a 20=25 degree difference in my operating temperature.

Thanks a lot redoldsman for the comment, I was leaning towards a cold case too (they have a black finish one also), the core is 18 x 28 or 18.5 x 28.7 but I don't think it will make a huge difference. They have different lower hose diameter though.

Any leaking at the cooler lines line on rad ? Steel fitting in aluminium !

Thanks again

I don't know if they were steel fittings in aluminum or not but no leaks. I did quite a bit of research on aluminum radiators and although Champion is a lot less, they are for sure cheaper with lots of problems leaking in a couple years. Griffin is way more expensive and in my opinion, not worth nearly twice the price.

I have a Champion CC161 radiator with dual 13" Derale electric fans and shroud. I had some fit issues with the Champion radiator because the core was not square preventing the shroud from fitting properly. The core measures 28.25"x 17"x 2.25" thick with 3-rows of 5/8" tubes. I don't have many miles on my car since the restoration but engine temps so far have never exceeded 220 degrees in 98-degree weather (running a 180 degree thermostat and no AC).
Here's a pic of the out-of-square core.

I have the original recored copper brass two core that blew out. The Autocity 1 1/8" dual core fit great, cools really well and has stamped tanks like the Cold Case in my 70 Cutlass S.
