Does anyone have any experience with using the quik latch hood pin system? I have a 70 cutlass with fiberglass hood and I'm tired of dealing with regular hood pin.

 

Perhaps something is wrong with your OEM hood pins. They should just push down and turn 1/4.

They shouldn't require "dealing with." If so, it may be easier to fix your existing pins.

The ones on the car aren't the 1/4 turn kind they are the cotter pin style. I thought the quik latch looked nice and eliminated the issues with current pins.
