Anyone know where to get some wheels sandblasted?

mike i ended up buying my own sandblasting tank and made a special nozzle to do all my sandblasting with. i could not find anyone around me that was willing to do it. they all said it was to small a job and would take them longer to set up then it would to do the job. depending on how bad a shape they are in. i might be able to do them for you at a reasonable price. the only thing to consider is by time you have shipping in it, would it be cheaper to just buy your own kit? something to think about. chris

 

I don't have a sandblasting tank; however, they are definitely helpful. Oldsguy and a friend of his sandblasted some parts with a do it yourself kit once. The parts turned out just as clean as if he had done it in a cabinet. He might post here and let you know where they got the kit.

How soon do you need it done. To make a little spare side money I am setting up a large blast cabnet and going to be blasting and restoring some parts. Ive already got the cabnet but its not quite set up to use yet.

 

You should just "Google" media blasting and see what is in your area. There all kinds of media to blast with. Walnut shell, soda, fine grain sand you name it they might use it. A pro place is the way to go. When you do it yourself you need a compressior that will keep with yor cabnet. Check in your area.

Thanks for all the replys and offers guys. I have a benchtop cabinet, but the wheels won't fit in it. If I were to do this in the yard it would probly = divorce.
