Quadrajet with strange stamping

Came across this carb while assisting my Niece. She inherited, a 69 442 convertible from her father. I believe its original to the car, because it was in the trunk. Car has been in her family since the early 70's. Brother in Law was a horder and former Olds Line Mechanic . Stamping is missing the first 2 . Any one else seen this

I've seen this a number of times. I don't know if it's something that Rochester sub-contracted to or what, but I've only seen them on the '69 4-4-2 carburetor. The one on my '69 right now is also 29251 RJ with a date code of 3518.

I have a 268 Pontiac carb that way as well.
The only ones I have laid eyes on were all 702 series.
