Ok, I thought I saw this somewhere, but I cannot find it anywhere I look. The assembly manual on page 6-1 90 has some info but it is for the inline 6. Google isn't helping me out this time either. So my questions are:
1) What are the correct pulley codes for the crank, waterpump, and ps pump for 70 442 455 HD cooling with a/c and the 6" pump?
2) What are the correct pulley codes for the crank, waterpump, and ps pump for 70 442 455 cooling with a/c and a 5 3/4" pump.
Thanks

Going from memory, the 70 model V8 Cutlass used waterpumps with 2 lengths. 5" and 5.5". The 6" was not used until 71. Both scenarios you listed would use the 5.5" pump.
The assembly manual shows the codes for the V8 engines also. If you can not find them let me know and I can post them later.

Yes Don please do. My assembly manual is a reprint and only has the in 6 pulleys.
I know these codes are wrong and for example only but:
What I am looking for is water pump pulley KK, goes with crank pulley KH, and ps pulley KJ on the 5.5", and the same set up for a 6".
I think we had some of this conversation at Nationals with Joe when talking about his 71.
KC = Crankshaft pulley
KF = Water pump pulley
KH = Power Steering pulley
The pulleys listed are not exclusive to the 455, they are used on the 350 engines also.
These pulleys are used with the 5.5"water pump. This pump can be identified by the 404847 casting number as well as an X that is cast into the water pump. There is a 5.5" pump used in 71/72 but it will not work as there are different hose sizes used between 70 and 71. When buying a water pump, make sure it is the correct height and the hoses fit water pump/radiator.
I do remember speaking to you about this at the Nats. Hope this information helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
I have two of the crank pulleys, but here is the next question. I have two water pump pulleys. The both look almost I dentical, the painted one I have not found the code on it yet, but the rusty one is a KK code. Are these small block pulleys?
