? 398625 '70-?? 455 2V AT. SX. No EGR. Iron.

To the best of my knowledge this is a 69 delta 88 2 barrel intake manifold. I've personally had 2 of these motors with that manifold and have verified with the block vin derivative .
I still have 1 in my garage if you need an ID code as well.

Just tell me where to find it.

The 69 delta motor in my possession also came with a T exhaust manifold 398708 on the passenger side, and an A manifold 384785 on the driver's side.
The A manifold is listed in the wiki as a 425 manifold.
Unfortunately, I don't remember if the same exhaust manifold combo was on the other one, and cannot confirm or deny the original posting.

Was that intake also used on the 2bbl SX cars? Keep in mind that the list of casting numbers and applications was almost entirely put togther by Chris Witt from personal observations and contains some admitted holes, so updates are welcome.

I've never had the opportunity to examine a 2 bbl sx car personally unfortunately.

This is an update to an old thread:

Yes, OEM intake mainfolds with casting number 398625 were also used on 1970 Cutlass SX's (71 SX's had 4 bbl intake and carb). See pic of manifold taken off my car. 1970 2bbl intake manifold - SX.JPG 1970 intake manifold - 398625.JPG

This same casting number was also referenced by another SX owner on the SX455.com site.
