Not sure if this is what you're looking for but I figured I would try to help.
According to the book "SETTING THE PACE, Oldsmobile's First 100 Years" in the back pages, it only lists production numbers for the models and options in the 'Comments Colume' for those models.
I'll list the Cutlass body style - produced - engine CID - comments (option) so here goes nothing and hope it helps...

1966 Cutlass
Celebrity Sedan - 9017 - 330 - Std. Cutlass L74
Sports Coupe - 17455 - 330 - Opt. Cutlass L73
Holiday Coupe - 44633 - 400 - Opt. 442 L69
Supreme - 30871 - 400 - Opt. 442 L78
Convertible - 12154 - 400 - Opt. 442 W30

That's what the book says at least and I'm willing to bet that someone else here will make the proper corrections as needed
At least it's something to get started with in your research.
Keep us posted on what you find.

Okay, let's start with the fact that the 442 was an option on 5 different models in 1966 (most of any year). The number of those models that were 442s and the breakdown by trans type was gleaned from the production records many years ago before the production records were pitched. Here is is:

1. F85 Club Coupe (V8)
6,353 total
647 were 442s
103 were 3-spd manuals
456 were 4-spds
88 were autos.

2. F85 Deluxe Holiday Coupe (V8)
16,968 total
1217 were 442s
88 were 3-spd manuals
798 were 4-spds
331 were autos.

3. Cutlass Sports Coupe
17,455 total
3787 were 442s
221 were 3-spd manuals
2,422 were 4-spds
1,144 were autos.

4. Cutlass Holiday Coupe
44,633 total
13,493 were 442s
297 were 3-spd manuals
8,025 were 4-spds
5,171 were autos.

5. Cutlass Convertible
12,154 total
2,853 were 442s
62 were 3-spd manuals
1,448 were 4-spds
1,343 were autos.

Those are Cutlass models, but the 442 was also available on 2 F85 models.
The Celebrity Sedan and Supreme were both 4-door models and could only be had with the 330, and obviously not the 442 option.

400 cid engine could be ordered in any 66 A body f-85/Cutlass 2dr or 4dr body style with the Pursuit Police Apprehender package. It would include all 442 engine/trans/swaybars etc. Did not include any 442 badging or visual 442 clues.

Not offered in station wagons.

wow, I am surprised how many 4-speed 442s were made compared to automatics. I would have thought by 66 more automatics would have been ordered - though that is just me thinking how "rare" 4-speeds are - after all I was 2 at the time and I have a 70 so those are the production numbers I know well. I guess it makes sense though.

It helps to understand where things were when it came to transmissions. Until the Turbo 400 came out in 1967, GM didn't have an auto that would hold up to severe use with the big torque that was being produced by the 442s. GM wasn't alone, Ford and Chrysler were also having to beef up their automatics too.
'66 was the last year the the 4-speeds were in the majority with 442s.

My SS 396 Chevelle came from the factory with a Powerglide, most came with the 4speed, it's a 66 and as previously stated the th400 didn't make it's appearance until 1967 at least in the A bodies.
