Power bucket seat bottom

Hello guys. I was going through some of the boxes of parts that i acquired when i purchased my 72 olds cutlass conv and i found the part that attaches to the seat so i took it out of the basement and hooked it up to my battery charger and the little black rubber wheel turns and buzzes real loud but no movement the switch has a round button in the middle and two other switches on both sides of it and when i move them up and down same result.. Can anyone help me with this is there a way to lubricate it to maybe make it move.. Thanks in advance for your help...

The nylon gears in the transmission are probably worn out. I took my power seat out because parts are hard to find...

i rebuilt a transmission about a year ago. they have old dried out grease in them and need cleaned after all these years. after putting new grease in them mine worked great. wouldn't hurt to clean and oil the track screws also.

yours is the 6 way seat and mine was a 4 way. for the most part it will be the same, just more parts. as for fitting the car, i am not sure if there was a 6 way seat for the a body.
