I have used the SEM dye numerous times and with great success. Just make sure you get it from a GOOD paint shop and NOT IN SPRAY BOMBS! Get it in pints or quarts and use a good paint gun. If possible a gravity feed so you can use low air pressure. Also get the vinyl prep for the product IT IS WORTH IT! The finish is very nice. If all you are doing is the door panels a pint will do the trick. BEWARE sometimes the change parts lok better then the stock ones and the snowball starts a rollin'. (better get a quart).

I like SEM products also. Actually the spray cans yield good results if you can't do the spray gun thing as in my case. As stated, good surface prep is the key. I think I used two cans for the panels in the picture.

I vote for the SEM products as well. I used both spray cans and out of the gun with excellent results.

If I remember correctly the QT was about $65. Spray cans work if the person that made them knows what they are doing. I rather get the qt because I have little or no waste. The material is too expensive to waste and I also use it in my airbrush to do touch-up in the rest of the interior.

DUPONT VINYL is an excellent product that you should be able to find at your autobody supply store...they also have a very helpful tech line. Don't forget to ask for tech sheets when purchasing!

Vinyl dye

SEM, used it it on my dash pad and trim pads, used spray bombs, and prepped and then prepped again.
