Playing Around with the Car

In the interest of being serviceable, I installed some dry break quick connects on the clutch lines. After running stainless hardlines and shortening the hoses, I quickly discovered how much of a mess it makes when the master cylinder drains. Might not even have to bleed it? We'll see.

Then, I got an idea for this sheet of aluminum, a length of 90, and a Brakleen box

Beats going under the car. I put a Ford starter solenoid near battery. Been under the car more times than I like to remember. Hitting the solenoid on a GM starter. And even having to replace it.

Dang! It almost been a month since I hatched this little plan.Got the radiator cover done. I think it turned out pretty well for a redneck with a bunch of (not necessarily the correct) tools.

What is the reason for the holes? Most are solid, curious for your reason.

*speed holes 🤣
No reason, really, other than my friend loaned me a dimple die, it looks cool, and adds "strength" (like bead rolling).

Be careful as the holes may allow airflow instead of being forced through the radiator and impact your cooling.

There hasn't been a plate there for years. This is purely cosmetic.
