The planets aligned in the Pacific Northwest

For once, the Cutlass was running, the weather was nice, AND my camera was working! I had all kinds of camera problems last year. Finally replaced my old camera with a new Nikon D5100. Also had carburetor and starter issues last year which are now sorted out.

Today my wife and I went for a little spin and stopped to take a few pics. This is the best one! That's the Mrs. at the wheel.

Found my build sheet the other day, too

I forgot to add that I found my build sheet the other day when I dropped the gas tank to replace the sender. It was between the tank and the asphalt pad. Unfortunately it is almost illegible because of asphalt staining it black with a little help from some gas leakage around the sender gasket.

Very nice! Gosh, she looks like she's actually enjoying herself. Lucky you. My Mrs. hates wind so a vert for me would be HEY!!! It would be just ME!!! and probably my son. He likes wind in his hair....Gotta go looking for a vert project now

BTW nice school, or is it a university?

Thanks Allan. She's a keeper. She likes to shoot, also, and has a collector car of her own so she understands my hobbies. That is the West Salem High School which was new a few short years ago. It is an eye catcher.

And we had a decent day a bit further north as well. To all of you unfamiliar with the PAC NW - these days usually only come in onesies this time of year!

With regards to your build sheet - copy it and a good quality copier (Kinko's?) and adjust the print to the darkest level. Sometimes things you can't see so clearly with the naked eye will show up on a copy like that - not always, but sometimes.

Yes sirree Bob. I'd keep that car too! Ohhhhh, you meant your wife.....yup, anyone who understands your passions like that is definitely a keeper too . I know what you mean, I'm blessed with a great wife too. Only thing is she would probably like to shoot me some days instead of a target Glad to see you both out and about enjoying the weather, the car, and each other!

Actually if the right trade opportunity came along, I would trade her in. The car, not the wife! I'd love to have a Supreme SX that's had a frame off, or a 70-72 el Camino SS that's had a frame off.

Hi Rob good to hear from you. I've been a little busy with projects so I haven't had time for a coast run. Also the weather has not been the greatest around here until lately.

Hey, I noticed you have a front end thread. How does your car drive now? Mine has new ball joints but still has a bit of shimmy on city streets. I know that's not much to go on. I suppose I need to replace the shocks and control arm bushings next.

my fiance hates riding in my car....says it smells like gas, no A/C, and i drive too fast, LOL. which i don't, but any snap of the throttle is "going fast" to her. she does enjoy shooting with me as well. her favorite gun to shoot is actually my AK, she's pretty damn accurate at 50yds, haha.
