The Parts Place Customer Service

I bought a rally pak set from them and sent them the following so I could test the units before I install them:

Sent to The Parts Place Contact Email:
"Comment: I have bought your Rally Pak Gauges and Installation kit. Can you tell me: what temperature and ohm resistance the temp guage reads in the middle, what pressure and ohm resistance the oil pressure gauge reads in the middle.

Thanks, Peter"

Here is their Reply:
"Hello,
Sorry we don't have any tools that will tell us that information.
Thanks"

What bunch of slackers. I would think they would have the specifications of the productions they sell.
I tried to call them - their phone is "Out of Order".

I will never buy from them again.

If I had known I would have tacked this onto that one.

Wow, Peter...
I just about heard the popping sound of their little minds exploding when you asked them such a technical question!
Those guys could barely tell you if they had any units in stock, let alone answering an engineering question...
Look at the bottom of my link below called 'rally pac stuff'. You can find some cal data for the temp gauge. I did not do the oil gauge.
Having their phone out of order is interesting...

Thanks Rob!

Does anyone have any ideas on how to calibrate the oil pressure guage and sender on the bench?
