Open face alt. identification.
I was digging around in my parts and found this. I believe I pulled it
from my 69 442 several years ago but can't remember. Can anyone identify it?
The #'s read as follows:
1100 852 55A
9C11 12V N
Thanks for any help guys. Here's a few pics to go with.

I'm pretty sure that's a good unit to have. From the date code,it's a March 11,1969 date which would be a 69 unit. I think that's the same as Hurst in 69.

Wait a minute, I need to find another towel to wipe the drool off my keyboard. I want it. How much? More slobber on the keyboard. Keep it. It is a nice number and the value will only go up.

So you fellas believe this to be for the 69 H/O? How cool is that...
I'm pretty sure I pulled it from my 69 442 though.
That walnut blasting is bad ***. Makes for a nice finish.

Yep, 69 Hurst Olds & 442 only! The 55 amp unit was for A/C cars, and/or heavy duty charging option, maybe also cars with many power options (seats, windows, etc). I think the 69 assembly manual spells out it's usage pretty well, been a while since I've looked though.

Thanks for the update Patton & Mark! My 69 is an a/c equipped unit,
so that could explain it being the 55 amp. I have the original starter for it to (gutted), but I have it and the M/C, and dist. I see there is a fellow selling the NOS carb for it, for $800, and it may be the right date code too. I had dreams of grandeur at one time for a body off resto on this old girl. I have the original drivetrain for it, less the carb, it had been replaced when I found the car. Iv'e got most of the parts including new interior from Legendary. I need to pic one project and go for it. To top it off I found a 425 in an old boat....
