Omega Dr Olds

I am hunting info on the 1973 Olds Omega " Dr. Oldsmobile " edition . 53 Omegas were built at the Van Nuys Ca. plant and sold through Century Oldsmobile in Van Nuys. Trying to find out what the sticker package was ect and some history. Have one of 12 Dr. Olds Hatchbacks.

Been discussed a few times on here over the years. Nobody has ever been able to produce documentation or proof of one of these cars. Even a pic of the car with decals does not exist as far as I know. Would be cool if some pics and documentation could be had on one. Here are the other discussion links I found under a quick search of the forum.

I looked at all three of the links (thanks, 2F4U), but none contains images. I'd be curious to see one of these cars. Bob, you got any pictures?

No, if you read the threads linked it seems like these cars were an actual thing.

From what people have posted over the years, these are just a sticker package on Omegas built with the Olds 350 motor. People have made claims that this is some special high performance package. It was not. It was just an Omega with the Olds 350 built at the Van Nuys plant.

I heard they had early prototype 403 SMW engines in them, snuck through the back door at the assy plant.

I know. I'd still be interested to see one, though.

Right, I get it... was just wise-cracking on the absence of photo's, especially from posts where individuals claimed to actually have one....
