Oldsmobile Technician

Hey guys,

Had a great experience this weekend. We went to a family event and took my burgundy Ninety Eight. There was a friend of the family that had never before met at the party that was actually an Oldsmobile technician starting in 1973 for 28 years! He was working for Oldsmobile when my cars hit the showroom floor and he did all of the maintenance and repairs on cars just like mine!

It was so damn cool to meet somebody that knew so much about Oldsmobile and my cars inparticular. I actually learned a few things about my own cars from a complete stranger! It was so cool seeing how things started coming back to his memory about certain parts or how things worked, the options the cars had, etc. Needless to say, I got his phone number. He thinks he may even have some brochures in his attic for me.

Just thought this was a very cool experience that was worth sharing. Especially since I drove the burgundy Ninety Eight to work for the first time today. A few of the guys I work with have been bugging me to bring it in.

Very cool! I've got a bunch of older brochures if he doesn't find his in the attic.

Hey thanks!! I do already have pretty much all of the brochures for my car but I'm curious to see if he has any that I'm missing or possibly better condition ones than mine. Let me know what you may have for '76 Ninety Eight's.

thanks!
John
