Nick's Garage only uploaded the video on youtube two days ago and I looked through new posts and didn't see that anyone else shared it.

I'm not sure if 325HP is a reason to do shots over.

The video was fun to watch. Thanks for the link.

Fiction:
Per one of Nick's employees, starting around the 12m 30s mark, "The same (W-31) cam came in the Delta 88 ... Toronado W-34 ... W-30 automatic."

Fact:
With one exception, the 402197 W-31 cam only came in Cutlasses--Hurst w/o AC in 1968, W-31 in 1969, and W-31 in 1970. The exception being a 1976 High Performance 455 Marine engine.
The W-34 used the milder 400165 cam, which was also used in the W-30 automatic.

I say leave it for more exposure. Just because I saw the first post doesn’t mean everyone else has.

I saw the video within an hour of Nick posting it and still got beat posting it. Yeah wrong info on the cam and he failed to mention the other motor he was talking about was a 455! A W31 cam in a 455 will give better manners and act tamer. Either way, what actual compression was, head work, valve size etc were just guesses since Nick build this one. It would have been nice to see a 6000 rpm pull.
