From my Nascar Die cast collection Buddy Bakers Gray Ghost 1980 Olds, When I caught up to him at a race here in PHX he was on his way to the broadcast booth, I handed him the car to autograph he took it sighed it and said Damn that car made me a lot of money !! I also have Lee Petty's 57 Olds and a 1950 Curtis Turners Olds I just couldn't find them for a photo. Too bad these Marques no longer exist.

Per these very last 2 photos, in my opinion, THE production car which you could buy in the early/mid 1990's (up to 1997) that looked the most like a NASCAR race car back in that day WAS the Cutlass Supreme 2 door. I get the 2 pictured are in the 1988-1991 range, but the 1992-97 redesign, man, that just looked the part.
Just sayin.

I call it NASCRAP for a reason, because like most of us agree it is. When they allowed Toyota, a foreign manufacturer to play, you know its over. This garbage 'Stage racing' bs was the nail in the coffin. Attendance dropped and TV ratings as well. For me, my generation was the 1980s with Bill Elliott and Dale Earnhardt battling it out. THAT was racing!
