I had two sheets of these back in the mid-70s. I still have one of these stickers on an old tool box. Sorry, but I can't remember where I got them.

I'm pretty sure they were giveaways when new.

I recall mustangs from early 70s that sported a similar sticker, google says it was a special edition 1972 series either sprint or olympic edition

There is a guy up by me that sells a lot of stickers at our local cruise night, he mounts them on magnet sheets. Hedmann, edelbrock, holley, UMI suspension , too many to remember.
Apparently he sells to guys that put them on their cars for race night, then take em' off for the ride home.
Good idea I suppose, but for $225.00 to do both lower sides of a car. It ain't cheap.
I bought one cool Hedman Hustler Headers, good size for $35.00 ,
I'd like to have the Oldsmobile made in U.S.A decal.
If anyone is interested in some I'll get a hold of the guy. Just PM me

Eric

I had some of those when I was a kid. I also remember seeing them affixed to the door jambs of new Oldsmobiles in the mid-'70s.

I make labels at work. I'm the art director/dept. supervisor but have access to digital printing equipment and die cutting equipment for personal use almost whenever. If anyone is interested in an Olds specific "sticker" I'll be happy to throw a few designs together. Only problem is it takes me a while as I generally have real work to do first :/

Where are your priorities?....

Back in the day we used to call these kinds of jobs gub'ment jobs and no jobs took higher priority than those :-)...

Hopefully somebody on this thread could mail you a xerox copy of their sticker so you have the dimensions. Or better yet the original, so you have the colors too. I don't see why you shouldn't be able to charge people at least what they cost on Ebay and you probably could make enough of them to sell there too. I wouldn't worry about copyright issues (I know a lawyer is going to bring it up if there are any on this site) unless you turn it into a multi billion dollar printing empire :-)

LOL. It's called a case of the shoe makers shoes. I never get to my own stuff in a timely manner.

If anyone has a high quality scan Id be able to print something from that too. I redraw all artwork so it's high resolution for best quality. I'll have to try and come up with Somethning myself.

It was actually a combination 75th anniversary (1972) and bicentennial (1976) thing. The stickers often got placed in the door jambs of new Oldsmobiles for about four or five years in the mid '70s. It kind of trailed off around 1977 or '78. I remember my dad gave me several sheets of them when I was a kid.
