Olds Differential Side Gear Help

I have a 12 bolt differential from my 70 442 that I had some axles made for. I had the axles made because I had the axle tubes changed to accept updated 3.15" bearings (Long Story). Strange Engineering made me some axles and when I tried to install them they would not fit. They are offering to take them back but have no solution to my problem. The problem is that the splines on a BOP axle are cut at 30deg. Strange only cuts splines at 45deg. Does anybody know if there is a side gear that will fit into my existing posi case with 45deg splines? Chevelle 12 bolt or 8.2 Chevy maybe?

Problem solved. Returning the Strange Engineering axles and having Duchman Motorsports out of Idaho make me the correct axles.

I hope my post will keep somebody from having to deal with this.

Assembly can continue.

Strange made axles 12 years ago for my 1970 Type O and they fit fine.

Strange indeed.

I went with Moser for my 31 spline '68 axles, and they slide into the side gear splines very snug but have the correct angle and pitch. I haven't finished the rest of the project to know if everything assembles properly or not, but measurements I took seem to indicate they will.

I called Mark Williams, and due to bearing sizes and such, they would only do the axles as their custom Hi Torque line, which are >$600.

I was also going to say that Moser can make correct axles.
