Olds Defender

Went to a small car show up in Centreville/Greenville RI last night at the local A&W. Forgot my camera but my buddy got a pic of this Olds. Unfortunately only one picture was small enough to upload. Had Olds Defender on the engine block. From what we could find out it's a 580 ci four cylinder with 35 hp. Haha, nice.

There were some beautiful cars there with about 3-4 Oldsmobiles. Just needed my camera

Forgot to add the poor guy was having a heck of a time trying to get it started. It had a hand crank in the front and it was all he could do to get it to even turn over. I did see a Powermaster starter hanging from underneath so not sure what that was all about. I hope he got home ok.

Yes, those early 1900 cars are beautiful. A lot of people prefer to hand crank them just to show they can.
