Olds 403 would this be a good buy
Okay I have pictures of olds 403




motor would like to know is if it is a good motor to buy in the guys asking 300 bucks I would like to rebuild it and put it in my 88 Cutlass classic Supreme

It should do fine but make sure your cooling system is up to task. Stock rebuild or performance upgrade? Your stock 2004R will need a good shift kit, bottom feed filter and a big trans cooler. The 7.5" 2.56 open rear, more likely than not is also an economy gear. A 3.42 or 3.73 gear with a Detroit Trutrac is a good upgrade.

Been sitting a long time, see rust on pulleys,etc. Is it seized up?
