Oklahoma storms

I live just SW of OKC. We had a string of tornadoes roll thru here. Spent 3 hours in our storm shelter. Lost about 5 trees but no other damage that I can see. No electricity right now. Could have another round tonight.

Tornadoes are why I took the NOAA's SkyWarn spotter class. It's worthwhile for anyone interested in weather around them.

High wind makes me nervous, more than any other weather event. We see tornadoes infrequently here, but often enough you want to know what cloud forms to look for in the skies.

Hope no one suffers any more tornado damage.

Saturday could be worse. Rented a chainsaw today to take care of 5 trees.
