OK next question 65 cutlass wiper motor

So when I got my 65 it didn’t have a wiper motor in it, but there was two in the trunk with it. Clean one up and went to put it in and it fits fine but my wires do not reach checked out the assembly manual and everyone shows a square motor not the rounded motor like I have. Does anybody have any pictures of 65 cutlasses with rounded motors and the wiring hooked up? Thanks in advance Brandon

It looks like your harness has been rewrapped. Has the slack been taken out of that pigtail or possibly the harness is routed wrong?

It hasn’t been re-wrapped it’s a brand new harness and I checked it against the old one in the pigtails are exactly the same length. Therobski, it looks like there’s a small extension harness to your wipers is that correct? Thanks for Everyone’s help Brandon

This is also a new harness from M@H , one plug in is for the motor the other is for the washer motor ( black plastic box) Where is your motor plug in wires from the motor?

If you zoom in on the picture there’s three spades where the wires go into the seam next to the ground strap.

I believe it goes thru the firewall direct to the wiper switch.
the picture is not real clear but appears to go thru the firewall.

Awesome thank you very much I guess what I should look at first just to make sure there’s a two speed wiper switch in their correct, as I just got this car and I don’t know much about 65. so I will check there first thing tomorrow and if there is a two speed switch I will order that jumper. If not i guess i will get a different wiper motor. Thanks Brandon

If you can post a picture of your switch, I may have a 65 two speed switch.I have a few that I am not sure of the years.

Just turn the switch on and see if you have 2 positions. If it's is a 2 speed you will feel a little pause..

Great thanks for the prints. So the plot thickens never even realize this car doesn’t even have a wiper switch here’s what I have for wires. looks like a piece of a switch and a few wires hanging. Plus two unconnected wires under the dash– I will have to go through my boxes of parts that came with this car and see if there’s a wiper switch included. Thanks for all the help with this so far

These prints only show the 2-2 wire plugs not the extension harness.

Believe the Cutlass got the two speed wipers and f-85 got standard single speed. Do not have my manual handy but should show it.

The prints I located, yes is for a single speed but should give you some clues and my base 64 F-85 came with a 2-speed.Granny spent some extra $$ on that option!! My suggestion moving is to forward locate another switch, https://www.ecklerschevelle.com/chev...1964-1965.html
