I don't know, seems more affordable than his collection of GTO RAV engine items at $150,000.00

Yeah, that cracked me up. As if he couldn't absorb that into the $1000 sales price.

It's an asking price, not a selling price. And given that it's not NOS (it's been restored) the market is going to be pretty small

It is a Buy It Now price so you can't buy it for less.

Very pretty looking sender, and someone who's never met PT Barnum will absolutely need it for their concourse restoration.

One of my least favorite sides of this hobby and plenty others are the people that only give an F about money. Give you a deal because you care about your car and need this part?.. 🤣😅🤣

Nope sorry. I am here to make money. Honestly I don't give an F about you or your project. Next...

Sign me up for four of the 1500.00 shifter *****. Hell free shipping. That's awfully ##### of you. What a dick. I cannot stand people like that. They don't give a rat's ***. All the drive is money. Chumps.

I seriously doubt anyone in their right mind would ever pay that much fora USED (!) oil pressure sending unit. And if someone is stupid enough to actually do it, they clearly have more money than they know what to do with. I know I’ll never be one of those people, and that’s fine with me.

While there is nothing wrong with earning a living but and selling parts, I really believe some people get more pleasure from having things other people want. There is zero emotional or financial incentives to keep whatever it is, other than the thrill of holding something desirable. We all know someone who has a collectible or desirable car rotting into the ground, hasn’t moved since the Bush administration (the FIRST President Bush!) and if someone did try to move it, would likely crumble into pieces. Chances are it was very restorable 20 years ago, the owner has had plenty of opportunities to either do something with it, or sell it to someone who would, but refused because “I’m going to restore it someday”. Doesn’t matter or not if they have the money, time, or ability, it will continue to sit there and slowly rust away.

People that advertise parts like this know the odds of selling is extremely slim. Maybe I’m wrong, and if so, I don’t want to know I’m wrong! I’d be pretty pissed to know I have thrown away old worn out junk parts that was only a coat of cheap spray paint away from big money.
