Good information for someone looking to make a choice what filter to use.

I use the Napa gold made by Dana/Wix.

Yep, this is a good article. It has been referred to in most of the long "what is the best oil filter" threads on this forum.

And just how did you determine how much restriction was caused by the Fram Filter?

Reality is, most any brand filters are good for typical use, as my Daily Pontiac 3.6 DOHC is fine on O'Reily house brand full syn oil and filter. Wouldn't use this stuff for racing, but probably o.k. for that too. Think it's more important keeping up on service intervals, as seen some valve trains all jellied up, and amazed they actually still runned.

Good article. I use WIX mainly, occasionally a Napa filter which I was told is just a relabeled WIX (which is article seems to confirm), or OEM.
