What is the best oil for a flat tappet camshaft?

Art, you will get various opinions on this subject, as there are several threads on it too.
I prefer Valvoline VR-1 racing oil as it has a good zinc content to it.

You'll probably get almost as many answers as responses. This subject has been addressed on most forums that deal with flat tappet engines. You can find them by doing a search. The consensus seems to be to get a quality oil that contains a sufficient amount of the zinc compound additive.

I just bought a 1964 Cutlass and I will probably drive it awhile before I swap the drive train.
