My how my son has changed. Now that I have him interested in the cutlass. We were driving around and he noticed some cars with loud pipes. He used to hate loud cars or anything else. Now he is telling me the car is too quiet.


Well it shouldn't be to hard. 350 2bl single exhaust. I can see lots of ways of making it louder and more projects with my son.

A nice duel exhaust. Father/son projects are great. Personally I don't like loud cars, but I do like a nice mellow sound.

 

I've been trying to convince my father to up our volume level for years now. He doesn't want to swap out the stock 2bbl carb, or switch out the exhaust for some nice flowmasters or something. Maybe its a generational gap; he likes that it's essentially stock; i'm more interested in making it more 'ours'.

 

Sounds like a fun project that he can help you with. Duals with some good mufflers should get it done.

 

I really don't need or want it too loud as it is a convertible. Just a nice rumble.
