no fire @ spark plugs

1986 Olds calis 2.5 liter 4 cyl engine. I have checked the ecm fuse-allok , I have cranking yet no fire @ spark plugs, new cap & rotor! Can anyone supply a diagram on the coil positive wire location? there are 2 plastic plugins on the coil. Which one supplys 12v to the coil or even distributor. I had a few years back replaced the ign, module . Also how to check the ign module itself? Thax.

NS switch maybe. Ignition module you can't test they either work or replace with a know working one. Use a voltmeter to determin which wire is the batt positive or the coil has a + on it usually.

There's a couple of thin wires from the module ... separate them. If the insulation is dried out, they could be cross talking. Happened to me once. One of the few times my cars ever left me stranded.
