nifty ebay find

This arrived today after I won it a few days ago. I had never seen such a thing before. The salesman would have had this hidden under his desk blotter so he could sneak peaks at it while you were sitting in his office and he was trying to convince you to buy an Olds instead of a Pontiac or a Mercury.

It's about 4 x 6 inches with fold-out pages. Here's the front cover and a few others from inside.

Neat-o find.

Mopar called those "Confidential Buyers Guides" and dogged-out the the GM and Fords models in them with pics.

Here are a couple of pages from a '73 copy that covers wagons.
Notice how sad the groovy couple looks sitting in the third seat of the competing wagons and how she's struggling way too hard to get out of the back of the Impala.

Cool. There are no photos in the one I have. Just facts and figures.
