Ingenious. Mostly the bumper jack in my Oldsmobile stays in the trunk unused.

Similar to the Bloomfield Jack.

 

Never heard of aBut looks safer than the hook on the bumper jack.

Used it again to help level the shed out a bit.

 

Whatever it takes to get the job done.

 

Good work. The bumper jack did the job so no regerts there right? Smart to use the pvc pipes, I like the reference to walking like an Egyptian too.

 

Bloomfield Jack is a Hi Lift Jack. They're the people that make them.

 

Was it difficult to move once it was on the pipes?

 

I had to. Susanna Hoffs did it for me.

 

I started with 1 inch fence post and it was very difficult, especially getting out of the ditch it was in.
Got it moved 10-15 ft before it got too dark, The next day picked up schedule 40 piping and it easily rolled with two people pushing.
Had to pry it to turn and go up an incline but once it was on the 4inch pipe it rolled close in minutes.
Took about an hr to get it settled in place. another hr or so tweaking and leveling it.

 

Kudos Tim, this was very creative, and it got the job done.
