New Sign over my garage

Went to the Dollar Store to get some name tags to stuff inside the envelopes that we will give out at our car show next month. While there, I saw this little sign that I thought was funny. Took me back to when I was ten.

When the wife drove up the driveway, she saw it and gave me the . I think I'll keep it. Beside's, I have a buck 50 invested in it.

Holy CRAP that's a huge f'n banner dude. Cool
You know it's funny because I NEVER knew there were other cool Olds 442's like the one you have.
My aunt had a 1976 Cutlass supreme with the SSII's all blacked out when I was little.
Man I LOVED that car.

I let Sandy in my garage for a few minutes when her car was there, she was lucky, otherwise I need no sign, they already know.
Same goes with my my subterranean Fortress of Solitude/Dungeon of Doom/La-bore-atory.

No need for a fridge, when I yell for a cold one the womenfolk/room service fetch the beer and deliver it to my door, they don't set foot inside, no talking either.

Welcome to the club.

I covet that Oldsmobile sign of yours.

My wife won't let any women in my garage so I don't have to worry 'bout it. I can enjoy the posters of my nieces all by my lonesome

Well, the 6 can version I moved to my new office at work. I'm looking at a 1.7 cu ft version and I've dropped enough hints. I'm holding off for Father's Day. If I don't get one, I'll go buy one at Wal-Mart myself.

Nice garage sign. Even better, it looks like you hang out in your garage and enjoy looking at your Cutlass from the comfort of your couch.

okay it's settled....Ken wins on neatness hands down....

I am more than man enough to admit when I'm beat....Ken wins on neatness...I just need to cut down on the clutter around here....2 Olds convertibles.....a 71 Monte Carlo(all 3 cars fully restored frame up)....2 Seadoos....a Baja Speedboat....6 wheel drive polaris ATV.....Cub Cadet 1050 LT...60 gallon upright air compressor....20 ton hydraulic press....motor puller....engine stand....rafters full of Olds dashes...1 rollaway tool chest and a 20 drawer proto that sets on the bench full of tools...and that's just whats in the garages....now the driveway that would take another paragraph....and the upper garage would be another story on compressor and another 4 ft tall rollaway tool chest full of tools(a buddy left here after the remnants of a divorce)...so if you ever need somewhere to wrench on your car......or just want to play on the lake.....just drop me a line...Oldsdroptop

On nice friday's when I come back from a cruise night, I back the car in, flick on the TV and drop on the couch. As I do what men do (women like to see what's on TV, men like to see what else is on TV ) I glance over at her every now and then. When the boys hear the car they will come out (if they are home) and we'll order a pizza an put a movie on. Have a big screen downstairs with full theatre surround, but like watching the 27" in the garage on nice nights.

It's a 455 that I was going to rebuild. Then I was going to paint it and display it as a sort of model, now I'm just going to sell it...with the stand, since I'm not going to use either.

Ken.
Why don't you start a new thread with your garage pic which other C.O subscribers can add to with pics of where their Oldsmobiles live. Sandy once posted a pic of Teepo's living quarters which was a real nice shed. I'd be interested to see where our vehicles live while not being driven.

Jamesbo posted a link to that thread. In it you'll see the little fridge I had (Coke fridge). One more week, and I'll get/buy a real one

Thanks for posting that link Jamesbo. Just before my time on C.O. Some good stuff in there including your story re the 69 convertible. I notice too that you "accent" has definitely become more southern over the last 12 months
Mine lives here.

Wow Colonel..... you could fit a few more in there, lol!!

"Teepo" lives in my much smaller house garage in the summer. Just enough room to open her doors (I have foam stuck to the walls in case they get opened too wide) and I can get around her to detail her!
