Talking New repop versus Reconditioned

The parts place offers new repop moldings and reconditioned moldings. I am leaning on purchasing reconditioned ones but would like to hear an opinion from some one who has ordered them before. Since my 442 was restored 20 years ago i am working on replacing the moldings. In areas that need it.

I would tend to agree.

Remember, there are also folks out there who can recondition your own stainless steel trim to like-new condition, for reasonable prices.
You can also do it yourself if you've got a small anvil, a buffer, and lots of patience.

I've used repop moldings for other cars from NPD and everything looked and fit great. Original is great, but finding moldings without even the slightest ding is next to impossible. Reconditioning I'm sure will end up costing you more than the repop'd pieces.

If you're not concerned about saving dollars then get them reconditioned or buy NOS.

some items it is actually cheaper and others more expensive.. hence the original question is did or has anyone purchased reconditioned parts from the Parts Place?
