Ready to put new cowl seal on my 72 Supreme. Orig on right, no brand from OPG I think, on left and SoffSeal in center. I've had the soffseal for years and accidentally bought an additional seal a few years ago, oh well. Need to decide which to use and why? I figure either will work but the Soffseal has the holes for the clips already punched in and I checked that they do line up so I'm leaning towards that one unless I will have issues closing my hood as it is the thickest of all 3? I now have an original OAI hood installed that I have had for 30 years (thank you Dennis Baker) now on the car but I don't know if the OAI hood fits closer at the cowl or the same as the steel hood.
I'm overthinking this for sure but I want it to be one-and-done with no problems or regrets.
