New addition to the family

I know, your first thought was boy or girl? Well it's a girl. Dyna is her name. This was a true barn find. It was stored on a trailer in a barn for the last nineteen years. She belonged to the great grandfather of a friends neighbor who pulled this car out, 'cause he needed the trailer, to build a fence, over the summer. I've been eyeing this beauty all summer.

Wow. Very cool. Beautiful condition. There are people who would kill to find bumpers in that good a condition on a '64.

I presume you haven't tried to start it?

Looks like with a little work, it would start right up. I bet the power trunk still works too.

Yeah I thought cool too. But on the other hand it makes me feel old that I'm likin' the looks of an old man car. At least my 15 year old daughter agrees it's "cool". I haven't even got it home yet. I haven't tried starting it. I was told that it was driven onto the trailer 19 years ago, and the brakes still worked when it was rolled off this summer. It does have some rust down low, and the rear bumper is only 3/4 there.

Nice addition - can't wait to see the resto thread!
Interior looks very nice. Engine bay needs resto - looks like rodents liked the air cleaner...
Interesting how the bumper is broke like that. Any clue why?
