Give it up. He's been dead for 36 years. Tince is a very unusual first name. The odds that this is not the same person are miniscule.

His wife died in '93, so she's gone, too.

There is a Steven Walters Rr 4 Box 154, Rockville, IN that I found in a search. May be a relative. The hit I got on Tince showed he might be 112 years old.

Tince Walters was born in 1904. I found this Steven Walters as well, and with the addresses so close, it could very well be a relative. Steven Walters was born in 1956 or 1957. If Steven is a son, his father would have been 52 or 53 when Steven was born. Not impossible, but it seems unlikely. Steven could be a grandson who would have been 12 years old when his grandfather bought this car. Would he remember it? Possibly. Would he have much detail about his grandfather's ownership? Again, possibly, depending on how close they were and how long grandfather kept the car. The older Steven got, the more likely he would take an interest in and have memories of a performance car like this.

You could try contacting Steven, but don't be surprised if he doesn't know anything about the car. On the other hand, he might have very fond memories of it. Maybe even some old photos, too.

This website gives Steven's phone number. If you try contacting him, let us know what happens.

He bought all these cars when he was past 60 years old. He was apparently going through his bucket list, making sure he had a chance to own something of everything before he died or got too old to drive.
