Need a Picture.......
Good morning everyone.....
I have been working on replacing the floor pans on my 1967 CS. I need toalso replace the inner rockers and am working on that as well. Through theprocess I also have come to realize I need to also patch the metal just forwardof the inner rocker where the bottom of the fender bolts up to. I have attacheda picture of the area I am talking about. I believe it is just a piece of flatstock but want to confirm before I make a piece and weld it in. If someonecould provide a picture of theirs that is not rotted out like mine it would begreatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Well, from the factory its not flat. You could either replace the rot with a solid piece from a donor car or fabricate something that would function. Either way, here's some photos of what it should look like. The yellow parts are from a 1967. The last one that's a shade of blue is from a 1966 and you can see the body mount in the background. How do the body mounts look on your car? Are they rusty and needing replaced too? John

John thank you so much this is exactly what I needed. Shockingly the body mounts located at the base of the firewall are fine. This car has localized rot. I am going to fab this piece and I will post some pics on my build thread. Thank you again for your help as it is greatly appreciated.
