I need a favor from one of our members in Europe. I'm trying to buy a pair of these door skin removal pliers from a company called Evotec-Swiss. I contacted the company directly. They have no distributors in the US and will not ship to the US. If someone can find these in Europe, I'd reimburse you for buying them and shipping them to me in the Washington, DC area. Let me know and thanks in advance.
Yes, I am aware that Harbor Freight sells something called a door skin removal tool. It is nowhere near as good as this and I am not interested in it. I also am not interested in the Astro Pneumatic tool that cuts the flange. The whole point of this tool is to allow you to remove the door skin and reuse it without damage.
Yes, I can make one. Given the limited free time I have available, I'd rather spend it working on cars than making tools that I then don't have time to use.
The only problem was the price, about US$125 to be shipped to me, then shipping and possibly new tariffs to send them to the USA.
Having said that, that was the price I was quoted for them to be shipped to the UK from Germany, maybe you can get a better deal?.
We haven't Brexited yet btw besides, Switzerland isn't in the EU.
English spelling can differ. Favor and Favour. Humor and Humour. Color and Colour.
Same words, additional U is a British thing. Some pronunciation differences. Color is said KUH lerr over here and sometimes it's KUH loo err over there.

I'm surprised we can even drive an American car over here, with hoods where the bonnet should be, fenders where the wings live, a trunk in place of the boot, and how do we persuade gasoline engines to run on petrol?.
Then when we have overcome all this how do we stop the damn thing?, somehow we have to get discs to work where there were rotors.
Still, stiff upper lip and all that, we British are well known for keeping our pecker up whatever the difficulties facing us.
Pip pip,
Roger.
