Richard, good hearing from you. I did not know that is what you are doing now. Hope it is going well. Now that the weather is cooling off, maybe I will see you some Thursday afternoon if you are around.

Good hearing from you
The short version is April of 2019 I was given the body shop because the current manager had run it in the ground. I took it from record lows to record highs in 9 months and then covid hit. We were within a week of signing a contract with a builder to start on our new home and shop. I paused to see what was going to happen. Even though we were still making money corporate froze all manager bonuses And they took all the wind out of my sails. Things got really slow for a while and I had some good techs retire. Once things start picking backup I couldn't get any good help and struggle all through 2021 Between no help and can't get parts Last December I jumped without a parachute not knowing exactly what I was gonna do but knew I was not going to rely on someone else for security what was never really there in the first place.

Shipping cars was always gonna be a small piece of it since I'm always running somewhere with an empty trailer to go look at something or go buy something But after putting the word out I started getting request to ship stuff all the time so I'm doing that about 80% of the time now. I was using just my open trailer at 1st but I bought an enclosed trailer so I can do either.
