Nationals - What to expect

How many spots are there for parts vendors? Also, where are the cars going to be? On the registration form it shows the host hotel...is the event actually there, or is there an dedicated area for the show like a fairground or something? Sorry, I just don't know how these events are set up.

The show is held at the host hotel. I assume it will be in the large parking lots in the photo.

So are there actual vendors that set up spots or just guys who deal in parts here delivering parts as a favor to others?

There will be a separate swap meet area, but I don't have a map of the show layout. Part sales are not allowed on the actual showfield. The swap meet area is separate. I've got three spaces myself. Now I just need to find the time to collect all the parts I planned to bring.

Ok, great. I'm hoping to find some of what I need there but I'm planning on being disappointed since I won't be in till late in the week.

You can also expect lots and lots of Hurst/Olds cars as well. I am the Director of the H/OCA and the H/OCA hostess and we are sharing the show field with all the Oldsmobile's. We have had good registration numbers and you will be able to see all years of H/O's and a few prototypes as well. I will be arriving on Tuesday and hope to see many of you there. I will also be looking for parts from my new 1970 pace car as well, I do hope the vendor turn out is good!

I know as of 2 weeks ago there were 38 registered vendors, last year I believe it was around 50.

You'll find lots of 70-72 A-body stuff, some reasonably priced, some $$$.

Look in your JWO swap meet registration page and you'll find contact info for Everett Horton who is swap meet chair. He might can tell you how many vendors have registered and what they specialize in.
