Mystery part!

Mystery part!

Found this in the trunk with a bunch of other parts...is it part of the spare hold down?

No, I think that part is used under the rear carpet on the pass side to protect wiring to rear speakers and possibly trunk opener.

good guess on the antenna coax under rear seat shield

but its not got the correct bends and looks way too heavy duty and too much curve at the end

my guess is

someone had a space saver tire ,,,,

X2, I knew it wasn't the antenna lead cover. This makes sense, space saver spare.

It looks like something to do with the tire...but it still have the original spare I think...
Do these look original?

I think it's the clamp for an inflator tank. Something like the retainer in this pic.

Rallye 350s could only come with "custom painted SSIIs" per the SPECS, so the car would have had a 5th yellow SSII in the trunk. That steel wheel did not come with the car.
