Mystery Part?

Does anyone know what these are?

This engine:

Olds 455, Mondello built, 508 cuin. Dual Edelbrock Quads,

No-scuff guide plates?

Seriously, they look like guide plate inserts to locate the push rods without scuffing them. Perhaps made for use with non-hardened push rods?

Those are Crane P/N 36655 rocker arm conversion parts. Designed for an SBF, with the 5/16 thread in the head but providing a 3/8 rocker stud. They work on an Olds head also, obviously.
