If no documents (such as service receipts or vehicle registrations) came with the car, then you will have no luck finding out previous owner info. You *might* come across a previous owner online, but it is very unlikely. Carfax reports are not going to exist for classics.

 

Google the VIN, but your chances are still slim on anything coming up.
