Pretty work. Esp doing a frame-off on a car that had no frame!

Did you use any body jigs or anything to get everything lined up, or is Nova repop sheetmetal better fit than it used to be?

Maybe you'll get lucky and the D88 won't need such extensive work, because unless it's shared with Impala, there is no repop sheetmetal for that car.

The sheetmetal I bought has been 98% spot on. No jigs used just stands. The D88 is in darn good condition with no body rot and super solid pans. Got a leaky engine and gas tank. Aside from that it's a good DD soon.

Nice work so far, can't wait to see the progress. Definitely one of my favorites. What are your plans for the car? Paint color, Engine, rims, etc.?

color was laurel green, might go back with that. I've got a '62 327 I had rebuilt which will be going in. No idea on rims yet but I've got some rubber on the stock rims I need to burn off first.

I thought your chebby build had some relation to the Oldsmobile site. So figured you were running an Olds engine. I didn't see any mention of an Olds 394.

Ahh... Sorry bout that. The only reason I did a post of it was because I had mentioned it in another thread. I bought a '64 dynamic 88 to keep me from going crazy wile my nova gets built. A friend on the nova forum said this was the best place for me to go for my new baby.
