My 59 caught fire and need some help

Does anyone have a wiring loom for an AC car?
Last Saturday a beautiful 25 degree day (77f), thought id take number one Daughter to the beach for the arvo and then cruise night with 350 other American cars later. 5 miles down the road the Engine Watchdog alarm goes off, then I saw the smoke. A fuel line has split and covered the motor and underhood insulation with petrol, then ignited. The fire was quickly put out ( thankfully I had 5ltrs of water in the trunk), but the damage is wide spread.
I only need the loom from the firewall forward.

Thanks

That is terrible, however it could have been worse. Hopefully someone has one.

I have seen how quickly cars burn and was going to do all I could to save it. The flames melted an O ring on the ac and the R12 would not go out. It set fire to the rubber flap on the inner fender and that too would not go out.
After I had exhausted the water the majority of the flames were out bar those 2. Luckily its a long weekend here and a grey haired nomad (retired people towing caravans ) stopped with 20ltrs of water, so I soaked a towel from the boot and smothered the flames. The burns to my hand and arm are a small price to pay to save the old girl.
All the winters work painting and tidying is lost. I had repairs done to the bonnet and fender, both are damaged now. when the motor was apart rebuilding the heads I took the time to paint the fire wall and all the accessories those too are ruined.
Oh well a journey of a thousand miles starts with but a single step.

Fusick had the harness for my 54 but I don't know about your 59. It was underhood and underdash together. Not cheap at about $650.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. After you get the old girl up and running, buy a fire extinguisher for the trunk. Water isn't real good on gas fires, but you got lucky this time.

True. Especially as the R12 gas and 300mls of oil in the AC caused the most damage and was the hardest to put out!!

Great advice, and im off to get one now
