my 33rd oldsmobile

just got another one home. i went to pick it up last weekend and they changed there minds about selling it when i got there. they called me back Thursday and said they will sell it now. they said it had not ran in over a year but i wasn't thinking about that when i picked it up. i just loaded it and got out of there before they changed there minds again. i got it home and put a battery in it and fired right up. i took it for a mile drive but it is in bad shape. it is typical Indiana sheet metal. it don't look to bad in the pictures but it is way to far gone to save. i have no time to part it out right now but for no more than i had to pay i can sit on it for a while. maybe oldspackrat can come get it and part it

I see some hard to find parts. The 1972 grill panels, rocker trim, vinyl top trim and the seat belts are items that jump out at me. Too bad it's so rusty, but at least the good stuff can be pulled before it winds up in the crusher pile

I probably will come get it if we can agree on a price! Give me a call when you get the chance.

At least you knew what you were buying, and paid accordingly. Saw an American Pickers TV episode today, where they bought a 67' Ford Fairlane GT, in not much better condition than that. They consulted a buddy about it's worth, and desribed it to him as in mint condition. I thought these guys were nuts. They paid $6K for it.
